Under US copyright law, all works published before January 1, 1928, have entered the public domain regardless of their original registration or renewal status. This short film, directed by C.J. Williams and produced by the Edison Manufacturing Co., was released in September 1913. Because the film was published more than 95 years ago and falls before the 1928 cutoff for the expiration of copyright terms under the Copyright Term Extension Act, its protection has expired. There is no possibility of active copyright protection for this title in the United States.
