Head Winds

The film 'Head Winds', directed by Herbert Blaché and starring House Peters and Patsy Ruth Miller, was released in the United States on March 30, 1925. Under the current US copyright law (U.S. Code Title 17), all works published or registered before January 1, 1929, have entered the public domain regardless of whether they were renewed. Since the film was published in 1925, its maximum 75-year term under the 1976 Copyright Act would have expired at the end of 2000. Under the Sonny Bono Copyright Term Extension Act of 1998, which extended the term to 95 years for works still in their renewal term, the copyright expired on January 1, 2021.
