After her boyfriend leaves her alone and penniless, Inga can only long for the love of another man devoted to satisfying her body and soul. Stig owns a beautiful villa, and Inga gladly becomes his personal secretary - and lover. When business takes Stig away, Inga's loneliness and unfulfilled sensual desires lead her straight into the arms and bed of Rolf. As passions surge and forbidden lust is embraced, Inga will be forced to confront a shocking secret and reconcile an aching heart with a tireless young body that can't say no.

Why this status applies

The film 'Inga' (also known as 'Jag - en kvinna 2') was a Swedish-US co-production/import released in the US in 1968 by Jerry Gross's Cinemation Industries. Under the Copyright Act of 1976 and the subsequent Copyright Renewal Act of 1992, works published between 1964 and 1977 were granted automatic renewal, meaning no renewal registration was required to maintain copyright status through the 95-year term. Unlike films from the 1928–1963 window, 'Inga' does not enter the public domain for failure to renew. The film was registered with the US Copyright Office on October 1, 1968 (Registration Number LP36140). Furthermore, as a foreign work of Swedish origin, its US copyright would have been restored on January 1, 1996, under the Uruguay Round Agreements Act (URAA/GATT), provided it was still under copyright in Sweden on that date. Since the film is still commercially exploited and licensed by successors to the Cinemation library or Swedish rights holders (often appearing in curated boutique collections), it remains protected. It is not an orphan work, as the rights are traceable to the estate of the director Joseph W. Sarno and associated production entities.
