Why this status applies
The title 'Los violentos años 20' is the common Spanish-language title for the 1939 classic 'The Roaring Twenties.' As a US production released in 1939, it falls under the 1909 Copyright Act which required a renewal in the 28th year to extend protection to the full 95-year term.
According to the Stanford Copyright Renewal Database and the Catalog of Copyright Entries (CCE), the film was originally registered by Warner Bros. Pictures, Inc. on 1939-10-28 (LP9206). It was successfully renewed by United Artists Television, Inc. (as successor in interest to the original copyright claimant) on 1967-02-14 (R404179). Because the renewal was filed correctly, the copyright remains in effect for 95 years from the publication date, meaning it will not enter the public domain in the US until January 1, 2035.
