Oh Doctor!

The film 'Oh Doctor!' (1917) is a two-reel silent comedy starring Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle and Buster Keaton. It was produced by Comique Film Corporation and distributed by Paramount Pictures (Famous Players-Lasky). Under current U.S. copyright law, all works published or registered before January 1, 1928, have entered the public domain. As this film was released on September 30, 1917, its statutory copyright term has expired regardless of whether it was ever renewed. It joined the public domain on its 75th anniversary (pre-1998 law) or 95th anniversary (post-1998 law depending on extension status), and as of January 1, 2019, all 1923 and earlier works are definitively clear of copyright restrictions in the United States.
