The Mollycoddle

The Mollycoddle is a silent adventure-comedy film starring Douglas Fairbanks and directed by Victor Fleming. It was originally released in the United States on June 13, 1920. Under current United States copyright law, all works published or registered before January 1, 1929, have entered the public domain due to the expiration of their copyright term. Because this film was published in 1920, it fell into the public domain on January 1, 1996, at the latest (the 75th year after publication under the previous 1976 Act), and its status was not affected by subsequent term extensions like the 1998 Sonny Bono Copyright Term Extension Act, which only applied to works still under copyright at the time of its passing.
